52 (51) Condanna del cinico
1 Al maestro del coro. Maskil. Di Davide.
2 Dopo che l’idumeo Doeg venne da Saul per informarlo e dirgli “Davide è entrato in casa di Abimelech”.
3 Perché ti vanti del male o prepotente nella tua iniquità? 4 Ordisci insidie ogni giorno; la tua lingua è come lama affilata, artefice di inganni.
5 Tu preferisci il male al bene, la menzogna al parlare sincero. 6 Ami ogni parola di rovina, o lingua di impostura. 7 Perciò Dio ti demolirà per sempre, ti spezzerà e ti strapperà dalla tenda e ti sradicherà dalla terra dei viventi.
8 Vedendo, i giusti saran presi da timore e di lui rideranno 9 “Ecco l’uomo che non ha posto in Dio la sua difesa, ma confidava nella sua grande ricchezza e si faceva forte dei suoi crimini”.
10 Io invece come olivo verdeggiante nella casa di Dio. Mi abbandono alla fedeltà di Dio ora e per sempre.
11 Voglio renderti grazie in eterno per quanto hai operato; spero nel tuo nome, perché è buono, davanti ai tuoi fedeli.

52 (51) Condemnation of the Cynic

2 After the Idumean Doeg came to Saul to inform him and tell him “David has entered the house of Abimelech”.
3 Why do you boast of evil or arrogant in your iniquity? 4 Order snares every day; your tongue is like a sharp blade, a deceiver.
5 You prefer evil to good, a lie to honest speaking. 6 You love every word of ruin, or tongue of imposture. 7 Therefore God will tear you down forever, break you and tear you from the tent and uproot you from the land of the living.
8 Seeing, the righteous will be fearful and will laugh at him 9 “Here is the man who did not place his defense in God, but trusted in his great wealth and made himself strong in his crimes”.
10 But I like a green olive tree in the house of God. I abandon myself to God’s faithfulness now and forever.
11 I want to give you thanks forever for all you have done; I hope in your name, because it is good, in front of your faithful.
Commento al filmato: nei due brani di drammatica bellezza – un “Allegro” e un “Allegro Molto” dai Concerti in Re min di Vivaldi, le note profonde, avvincenti del Fagotto solista, cantano con armonie cariche di Pathos:
«Ecco l’uomo che non ha posto in Dio la sua difesa, ma confidava nella sua grande ricchezza e si faceva forte dei suoi crimini».
Gli ultimi versetti del Salmo, sono cantati dalla cascata cristallina di note dell’Oboe solista nel Concerto in La min di Vivaldi con armonie di grande impatto emotivo:

Commentary on the film: in the two dramatically beautiful pieces – an “Allegro” and an “Allegro Molto” from Vivaldi’s Concerts in D min, the deep, compelling notes of the solo Bassoon sing with Pathos charged harmonies:
“Here is the man who did not place his defense in God, but trusted in his great wealth and made himself strong in his crimes”.
The last verses of the Psalm are sung by the crystalline cascade of notes of the solo Oboe in the Concerto in A min by Vivaldi with harmonies of great emotional impact:
