Castigo dei calunniatori
[1]Salmo. Di Davide. Al maestro del coro.
[2]Ascolta, Dio, la voce, del mio lamento,
dal terrore del nemico preserva la mia vita.
[3]Proteggimi dalla congiura degli empi
dal tumulto dei malvagi.
[4]Affilano la loro lingua come spada,
scagliano come frecce parole amare
[5]per colpire di nascosto l’innocente;
lo colpiscono di sorpresa e non hanno timore.
[6]Si ostinano nel fare il male,
si accordano per nascondere tranelli;
dicono: «Chi li potrà vedere?».
[7]Meditano iniquità, attuano le loro trame:
un baratro è l’uomo e il suo cuore un abisso.
[8]Ma Dio li colpisce con le sue frecce:
all’improvviso essi sono feriti,
[9]la loro stessa lingua li farà cadere;
chiunque, al vederli, scuoterà il capo.
[10]Allora tutti saranno presi da timore,
annunzieranno le opere di Dio
e capiranno ciò che egli ha fatto.
[11]Il giusto gioirà nel Signore
e riporrà in lui la sua speranza,
i retti di cuore ne trarranno gloria.
Psalm 64a]
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint;
protect my life from the threat of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked,
from the plots of evildoers.
3 They sharpen their tongues like swords
and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.
4 They shoot from ambush at the innocent;
they shoot suddenly, without fear.
5 They encourage each other in evil plans,
they talk about hiding their snares;
they say, “Who will see itb]?”
6 They plot injustice and say,
“We have devised a perfect plan!”
Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.
7 But God will shoot them with his arrows;
they will suddenly be struck down.
8 He will turn their own tongues against them
and bring them to ruin;
all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.
9 All people will fear;
they will proclaim the works of God
and ponder what he has done.
10 The righteous will rejoice in the Lord
and take refuge in him;
all the upright in heart will glory in him!
Commento al filmato: i tre clavicembali in dialogo con l’Orchestra di questo “Alla Siciliana” di luminosa bellezza, dal Concerto in Re min di Bach, cantano con note struggenti il lamento che il salmista – il re Davide – eleva a Dio perché lo protegga dai calunniatori:
[2]Ascolta, Dio, la voce, del mio lamento,
dal terrore del nemico preserva la mia vita.
[3]Proteggimi dalla congiura degli empi
dal tumulto dei malvagi.
Ma dal versetto 8, Nello spettacolare “Allegro” della “Sinfonia “ in Do di Antonio Vivaldi, l’Orchestra si scatena in un Caleidoscopio di note impetuose per cantare la caduta dell’empio e annunciare le grandi operedel Signore:
[10]Allora tutti saranno presi da timore, annunzieranno le opere di Dio e capiranno ciò che egli ha fatto.[11]Il giusto gioirà nel Signore e riporrà in lui la sua speranza, i retti di cuore ne trarranno gloria.

Commentary on the film: the three harpsichords in dialogue with the Orchestra of this “Alla Siciliana” of luminous beauty, from Bach’s Concerto in Re min, sing with poignant notes the lament that the psalmist – King David – raises to God because protect from slanderers:
[2] Hear, God, the voice of my complaint, from the terror of the enemy preserve my life. [3] Protect me from the conspiracy of the wicked from the tumult of the wicked.
But from verse 8, In the spectacular “Allegro” of the “Symphony” in C by Antonio Vivaldi, the Orchestra is unleashed in a kaleidoscope of impetuous notes to sing the fall of the wicked and announce the great works of the Lord:
