Salmi – Capitolo 82
Contro i principi pagani
[1]Salmo. Di Asaf.
Dio si alza nell’assemblea divina,
giudica in mezzo agli dei.
[2]«Fino a quando giudicherete iniquamente
e sosterrete la parte degli empi?
[3]Difendete il debole e l’orfano,
al misero e al povero fate giustizia.
[4]Salvate il debole e l’indigente,
liberatelo dalla mano degli empi».
[5]Non capiscono, non vogliono intendere,
avanzano nelle tenebre;
vacillano tutte le fondamenta della terra.
[6]Io ho detto: «Voi siete dei,
siete tutti figli dell’Altissimo».
[7]Eppure morirete come ogni uomo,
cadrete come tutti i potenti.
[8]Sorgi, Dio, a giudicare la terra,
perché a te appartengono tutte le genti.
Psalm 82
A psalm of Asaph.
1 God presides in the great assembly;
he renders judgment among the “gods”:
2 “How long will youa] defend the unjust
and show partiality to the wicked?b]
3 Defend the weak and the fatherless;
uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.
4 Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
5 “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing.
They walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 “I said, ‘You are “gods”;
you are all sons of the Most High.’
7 But you will die like mere mortals;
you will fall like every other ruler.”
8 Rise up, O God, judge the earth,
for all the nations are your inheritance.
Commento al filmato: un “Adagio” di luminosa Bellezza dal Concerto “La Notte” in Sib Magg. di Vivaldi, canta con armonie “dolorose” il lamento del Signore verso il Suo Popolo:

Commentary on the film: an “Adagio” of luminous beauty from the Concerto “La Notte” in Bb Major by Vivaldi, sings the lament of the Lord towards His People with “painful” harmonies:
[2] “How long will you judge unjustly and uphold the side of the wicked? [3] Defend the weak and the orphan, do justice to the poor and the poor. [4] Save the weak and needy, free them from the hand of the wicked.”
